Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Buying a 2004 Golf GT TDI

    Hi

I am looking at buying a Golf Gt TDI with 60K mile on the clock. Does anyone know when the timing belt should be changed! I don't want to end up having a big expense just weeks after buying the car! Is there anything else I should watch out that might need changing at this milage!

Thanks a million for any help.
    Gavin

Belt and pump are due to be changed on her now.
    It's due every 60k miles

I think it's 60k or 4 years so would be due now, get the water pump done at the same time.
