Heating system gas vs wood pellet

Hi. Just wondering what would be more cost effective having a gas or wood pellet heating? Its a mid terrace property and it needs a complete system put in (i.e there are no rads/pipes). Would the hopper and boiler for the wood pellets take up much space? Also anyone care to guess what I should be paying for either system.
Its 90sq house, 3 bed,mid terrace. It would need around 7 rads + boiler + hot water tank...

Bulk storage of pellets takes up a lot of room 3x2m, and about 1.5x1m for the boiler, plus a few meters if you have an auger type pellet delivery system, also can a delivery truck get within 20m of the back garden for delivery, if not the you will only be able to use bagged pellets and a stove type boiler which is not very cost effective. I cant help you much with gas I'm afraid we're only geting the pipes to the towns in Mayo now!!!

We would really have to put the hopper in the attic then, but I am not sure if you could put the boiler up there too? Looks like it might be too expensive for this option. I think ill be going for gas

Just a few crumbs for thought.

Mid terrace = only 2 external walls = could be easy enough to make v cosy with good attention paid to detail when insulating/making it airtight.

Well done insulating is the best value for your heating dollar.

If going gas consider a combi boiler which with provide hot water on demand = no tank reguired= save space.

If u have a fireplace consider a 4/kw multifuel stove in room: you would be amazed what heat will permeate through the house.

Didnt know there was instant heat gas boilers, thats very handy should cut down costs allot. Can you pressurise the cold water system to remove the need for a cold water tank?

No as the regs prohibit any pump on rising main
