Am looking for advice on when to pour finish floor. Should I get my front door, back door and patio doors installed first and then get floors done is this a better job or are they normally fitted after the floor. My foundation is a raft so that is the sub floor, plumber is going to do his first fix so should I have doors ready to be installed as soon as he has his pipes down. dont have doors in yet because I dont want everyone steping on threshold have seen it happen in a few places even when the threshold is supported by blocks it can get damaged. This is my first post so hope it makes sense.

It depends on when the 1st fix plumbing is going down as you'll need to protect same. (A final screed could be poured after plastering!)

I'd put in floor after roof but before doors. You could leave out a small strip of floor at each external door ope, to be filled / levelled after door installation.

Thanks RKQ will get plumber to first fix and then have doors ready to go. Should doors be set into screed or sit on finished floor ?, I would think for weathering they should be set in screed, any opinion?
