Question about the pill

Just wondering if anyone can help/advise please.

I'm on microlite and the end of my cycle was last Sunday and I'm currently on the 7day break, but I haven't got my period yet. I'm due to start the next pack tomorrow but should I wait until I get it before I start the new pack?

Also in the last month I've started taking cod liver oil with evening primrose oil as a supplement, would this have any effect on the delay?

And I'm absolutely positive I'm not pregnant :)

Take the new pack tomorrow as usual. When do you usually get your period during the break? The booklet with microlite says to take it anyway if you happen to miss a period and see your doctor if you miss it the following month. Evening primrose does do something to "balance" your hormones so it *could* be because of this but really I don't know. Just the main thing to do is take your pill as normal.

I normally get it a day after I stop taking them. But it's been a pretty hectic month so that could be it.
I think I'll go have a chat with the doctor, I'm not quite happy with microlite

Start taking it as normal. Sometimes you miss a period for no reason.

I would do a test and if it is negative then consider starting the new pack.

How do you know you are not pregnant? Take a pregnancy test first, in case you had sex in the last month.

And if it's negative, start the new pack, but go to the GP anyways, there are a lot of factors to be considered in this, we cannot really tell you why you didnt get your period.
