    Hi All,

Does anyone have a recommendation for an autoelectrician in Lucan or the surrounding area ? I have a problem with my alarm that appears to be draining the battery.

    TIA,
    V

Try disconnecting the alarm and see how the battery holds up then, what make and year of car is it? How long does it take for the battery to go flat, maybe you have a bad cell in the battery.

The alarm appears to be under the fuse box, it's a 95 BMW 520 e34 with an aftermarket alarm. When I put the alarm on it turns on one of the parking lights which drains the battery. At the moment I can't even get it started with jump leads so want someone to have a look in situ before I try to change the battery.

Beam came over as arranged last night and diagnosed it was a faulty battery. All appears well for now :D

    Thanks again Beam99 !!
