Assault Case Questions

Ok so i got a kicking last week and am charging the main guy who was involved. I just have a few queries if you please as its the first time ive been involved in this sort of thing.

    1. Fight started with him pushing me a few times and then i hit him. The history between us is that he had been threatening me through emails, non of which i replied to - thanks for the evidence pal:p. I had been in the pub all day and was fairly well oiled. he had only walked in the door, when he asked me to step outside for a chat and then the above happened. Is this as basically black and white as I think in that I threw the first dig so i started the fight, in which case... ive no case:). Would i have any grounds that i was in fear and was defending myself? also after about 10 seconds the fight turned from a one on one to a three on one? would this sway my way?

    2. If it does go to court, what is the deal with the solicitors? Is it the state-v-scumbag? Or is it adzer86-v-scumbag. What if it goes to court and he is found not guilty? Or would this even happen? If so, would i be forced to pay his legal fees?

    3. what injunctions can be placed on him to stop him from coming near me while the case is being sorted out as he could be liable to start shti again?

    Cheers everyone

You should talk with a solicitor if you want to win.
