Xcortech X320. Doesn't cost the earth and is one of the most reliable chrono's I've ever used. On top of the standard fps/joule readings, it also does rate of fire and string counts so it's ideal for use if you have any intentions of upgrading parts and want more elaborate readings.
    Couldn't recommend it any higher.

I prefer the Xcortec myself. it displays more information without having to go through menu's and its a lot more user friendly. :)
The madbull is a little smaller than it but i just don't find them very user friendly.

I really don't find the Madbull one all that great. Any time I've used one it seemed a bit finnicky. That said, it's still a damn sight better than most chrono's out there, but it's definitely second place to the Xcortech.

We haven't had them for a while, but they're fairly widely available since they're pretty popular. If the Irish retailers don't have them, you'll be sure to get it in the UK.

Pity, but I will say they are very good chronos.

Batteries last, screen is bright, they are easy to use, and measure rof, fps, joules, ms etc. and display on one screen.

    epic failz :(

Was ages later, and gunners idea of downgrading a shotgun, is fcuking high-larious.

I had to re-do it to a reasonable way, is grand now.

Drilled a hole in the chamber and put sponge on the hammer.

I mean, its a gas gun, drilling a hole lowers fps, but wastes gas ffs.

I filled the hole with solder, got rid of the sponge and did a proper job of restricting the gas valve and flow of gas.

......anyway can't find a single european retailer that has the Xcortech, looks like ebay for me from hong kong:(

We (eirsoft.ie) get them, we just haven't had them in for a while. Gunner do them, if you're going online. I think eHobby might too.

I've used a Madbull for some time now and find it very good and reliable. power on and you got fps for .2 g BB's , ROF is just a few clicks away and you can alter it for different weight BB's at the push of a button. No rocket science required.:o

Just got my xcortech from ehobby (brilliant service as usual). Very impressed with it i have to say, thanks to all for their recommendations. Never realised it would be so compact but it does the job nicely:)
