Pregnancy Concerns

    Hi there,

A few years ago one of my fallopian tubes spontaneously twisted and I had to have an emergency operation to partially remove one of the tubes which means that only one of my tubes is operational.

I am now almost 31 and considering starting a family with my husband however I am very anxious about trying and becoming pregnant.

Has anyone had something similar or even previous complications and how did they get over them and become pregnant and also did it take them long to get pregnant? I find that I am so anxious it is putting me off the whole idea of having a baby not to mention the thoughts of labour on top of that.

    Can anyone advise?

It is difficult to advise on individual cases although general discussion is ok.

You do need to chat to a doctor if concerned - the best means is with your GP who can refer you if they are concerned to a specialist.
