Have you being on any. How did you find them. Did they work? I attended a course of them and want to hear how others got on. Thanks in advance.:D

I think that you should try to figure out why you are angry in the first place, and then treating that. For example, I was terrigbly angry with my loved ones a few years ago, but it was because I was depressed inside. I went to my GP, was prescribed an anti-depressant, and my anger 'vanished'.

I'm not depressed. Most on the course were there to impress the courts or were heavily advised to attend and come back with proof they had attended. One doctor there wouldnt admit his anger issues and used often repeat I only hit her once.

Can anyone tell me where I can get these? I tried to apply but was told I had to be sent by a court... I haven't been violent yet, but I feel it's only a matter of time before I snap one day, and my gf is five month's pregnant. I know I'd never hit her, nor would I lay a hand on a child, but it's one of those "better safe than sorry" things. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

MOVE - men overcoming violence - would be a good start. You don't have to be sent there!

Most Mental Health Outpatient facilities - day centres, day hospitals - would have a course on anger management. Ask your GP to refer you to a local psychiatrist to get on one. They are free of charge. You can also see counsellors to sort out your issues this way too.
