Are there any hidden gem roads in the centre of Ireland? Unfortunately, I do most of my driving in cities and motorways, and dont know of many great driving roads. My favourite so far is a road between Balinamore and Carrick on Shannon, I dont know which one it is, but is it has a great surface, its got wide sweeping…

Are there any hidden gem roads in the centre of Ireland?

Unfortunately, I do most of my driving in cities and motorways, and dont know of many great driving roads. My favourite so far is a road between Balinamore and Carrick on Shannon, I dont know which one it is, but is it has a great surface, its got wide sweeping bends, tight turns, up and downhill straights and great scenery.

If anbody knows of and great roads around the centre of Ireland (Roscrea Athlone area), please let me know about them and why you enjoy driving on them so much!?
