Makeup artist Munster area

    Hi,
    I've had two make up trials, by two very different makeup artists based in the Limerick/Tipp area.
    One lady quoted me 310 for 5 people, and the other 250euro for 5 people.
    Does anyone know if either of these prices reasonable or am I being ripped off???

    you can expect to pay around 50 if she is coming to your house. The likes of mac,estee lauder in BT will do the make up for free if you spend a certain amount (somewhere in the region of 25 per person).

    I know a few make up people who do weddings and these prices are pretty much the norm. When you think of the overheads I suppose it is ok. Call out fee, cost of equipment which would have to be the best make up as you couldnt use the cheap stuff.

    Those prices are pretty good for 5 people. I am a make-up artist myself and would charge 400 euro for 5 people. So i think i'd go with the girl who offered you 250!!! tis a recession. Just make sure your make-up is going to last the day! There are a lot of cowboys out there that will do wedding make-up and after 4 hours your make-up is completely gone off your face! So make sure the girl knows what she is doing.
