Anyone ever been to a squat party?

    I'm going to a squat party in London next month. I've never been to one and to be honest I don't know what to expect (except for lots of k-holing hippies - not that I approve of such things ;)). I don't know anyone in London but I'm meeting up with a member of another forum beforehand, he goes to a lot of squat parties.

    I've been to loads of squat partys not in recent years mind (and this was before the crustys used to get mongoed on that disgusting Ketamine) always mental,loads and loads of drugs consumed, i thought i used to have a nice stash on me but it was nothing compared to what these crustys had:eek: music was deadly, always full on European and Acid Techno with some Jungle and fast breakbeat if there was another room,i used to know a lot of crustys as i used to go to the 13th Floor to crustys Techno nites on O Connell St (used to be called McGraths, then Frazers now called Murrays)in fact one of the best partys was in an old gaff in Cabra they used to call Southfork which is still there but i don't think crustys live there anymore, spent 3 days solid there before and when i
    eventually left it took me days to recover:o:D

    That takes me back. I DJed at a couple of parties there - 1996/1997. Would that have been the time when you were there?

    Yeah man it would've been around that time definitely, serious party's they used to have there:)

    whatever your into yourself bud but personaly ive always been into "uppers" when im out raving and Ketamine is hardly something you can say that is an "upper" like E, it's a poisonus disgusting drug more suited to a "skag party" than a Club/Rave:eek:

    You dont really need any drugs to be honest. If you like the music for what it is, then you wont see the need.

    True but there are not going to be many at a squat party who wouldn't indugle in drug taking.;)

    Its not a raving drug, not in the slightest. Doing little bumps in clubs is pointless. Its not pleasurable or enlightening at small doses. If you're gonna do it make sure you do enough to K-hole. Everyone should experience something that weird once in their life!

    I disagree totally that its poisonous and disgusting. There is a place and a time for every drug. At a rave it might be uppers, ketamine is one best left for home!
    Ketamine is far less harmful to your body than Ecstasy. Ecstasy is in reality fairly harsh on the old brain, ****s with serotonin and whatnot. I would not like to hammer the stuff.

    I'm no longer going to this squat party, I'm working and can't get the time off :( AH well, maybe next time. Regarding squat parties in Dublin - I didn't know there were many squats in Dublin, don't our laws make it very difficult for people to squat in the same way they do in England for example?
