    just came across this

    http://i.gizmodo.com/5156500/cross-battle-adapter-brings-xbox-360-controller-to-ps3-with-rumble
cross battle adapter brings xbox 360 controller to ps3 with rumble

It's the Holy Grail of self-loathing DualShock gamers. Ditch Sony's controller for Microsoft's with the XCM's latest, fully functional Cross Battle Adapter.

The adapter plugs into your PS3's USB port where it accepts wired Xbox 360 controllers. Beyond mere "it works!" functionality along with new rumble support, you can also toggle turbo on any button—which is why the unit has like a thousand switches.

have you experience the new verison of the xbox 360 controller

but i suppose each controller has good and bad points
imo the ps3 contoller has very bad trigger buttons

yes and no. Yes in everything except for the D-Pad. It's weighted better, more ergonomic and has better analogue stick sensitivity and resistance, it also has much better triggers.

I don't own a 360 but for PC platformers and brawlers I use the wireless 360 controller as it is superior.

In saying that I sit far enough away from my PS3 that I need wireless. Also, there'd be no sixaxis support, but then who needs it for anything other than flower
