Definitely. A lot of the other ones don't work with the PS3, so you're better off getting this one, because you're guaranteed that it'll work

I've done a bit of googling about this before and the general consensus seems to be that yes, it is worth it. And 17.95 would appear to be a decent price too!!

found out they are charging 4.99 postage rather than the usual 1 for a dvd but
mymemory have it for 20.75 with free postage.

I've two Motorolas and have never had a problem with them, TBH. One of them must be 3 years old by this stage, but it is fine with the PS3

I had the Geotech one first didn't like it so found the official one in Sony Centre blanch for 40 euros, well worth it, fits nicely in my ear, nice clear sound on it, big mute button on the side, cool docking station on it that can turn it into a mic if fed up of listening to it in your ear. Most online stores seem to be out of it, was going to buy it from videogameplus.ca, but when I saw it in Blanch just went for it :)

Ive bought two offical PS3 wireless headsets from gamestation.co.uk less than €50 for the two, but it does depend on the exchange rate. Currently £24.99, postage is only £2 it works out at €32.00 at todays excahgnge rate. Only down side is it took a week to arrive but worth it. They still have some in stock.

Have to agree the Official PS3 headset is class - great sound/quality from it
But, keep an eye out for the Game kits that include the headset - might work out cheaper buying it with that.

I've heard alot about the sound quality about it. What about comfort? Has anybody used one for more than say, 2 hours? What's it like?

yeah used my offical one for a 4 hour session of COD WAW and no probs, no ear ache or pain from were the clip holds onto the ear, actually forget that your wearing it, which is always a good sign of comfort :)
