    I bought a previous issue of The Stinging Fly and it was very good.
    I just got this email from them and decided to post it here .........

    ================ email as follows==================

    'One of the things that I admire about The Stinging Fly is that it is one of the few Irish outlets
    where writers have a chance to add to the literary pulse.'
    —Colum McCann, author of Dancer and Zoli

    Hello everyone,

    The latest issue of The Stinging Fly, now with 16 more pages added, is due back from the printers on Monday, and it will be sent out to shops and directly to our subscribers during the coming week. As well as our usual blend of fiction, poetry and reviews, we have a special feature on the writing of first drafts with contributions from Colette Bryce, Mia Gallagher, Dermot Healy, Nuala Ní Chonchúir, Philip Ó Ceallaigh and Peter Sirr. I've pasted in full details of the issue below.

    We've kept our subscription rates fixed again for 2009: 20 euro for three issues within Ireland and 25 euro to the rest of the world. Those taking a two-year subscription can save a further 10%.

    Online subscriptions are available at: http://www.stingingfly.org/subs.html

    Or you can send a cheque or postal order to the address below. Subscriptions can also be purchased by paying money directly into our bank account. You'll find instructions and our bank details at the bottom of the subscription page on the website.

    We are currently accepting submissions for our next three issues (up until the end of March). Our current submission guidelines are here:
