Kamila Skolimowska, a regular sparring partner of Eileen O' Keefe in the Hammer circle, died yeterday after a heart attack while at a training camp in Portugal.

She was the first ever Female Olympic Hammer Champion at the age of 17 in Sydney.

She competed at the Morton Memorial in Dublin last year; I remember she was standing right beside me giving an interview to a journalist after the competition.
