audi owners manual

    hey folkes,

    Just wondering if anyone could help me out. im looking for an audi car manual (the one that comes in your glove box, 2005 edition) mine was taken from the car recently. why i dunno. but if anyone knows where i can pick up one or get one secondhand i would be greatfull. thanks

    thanks for the thread esel....im not from dublin but sure they are def worth a shot. i rang a local breaker(mayo area) today who said that audi do a recall on all owner manuals of crashed cars. now im not sure if thats true or not. But thanks again for your help and i include volvo man in that.....

    An Audi main dealer should be able to get you one. Finding the part number is hassle though. I supplied many of these (both Audi & VW) back in my VAG parts days.

    Are you talking about the user manual (hand book) or the service book with the cars history stamped up.

    The handbook is easy to order at a main dealer. The service book would be a different story though. Certainly it would be the service record which audi would seek to recover from a written off cars although I find that hard to believe too.

    thanks for responces...have seen the manual im looking for on ebay....now it prob wont match the cars spec but think i have no choice but to purchase....the manuals which were takin from me are prob in some clocked audi...its being a bit of a pain in the ass for me because i know when i come to sell the car its gonna be a problem....im just lucky that the service history is recorded at the dealer.....

    This is a long shot, but some Audis have a dedicated slot for the books in the bottom of the dash to the right of the wheel - have you checked all possible places including there? My mother's 320d has the manuals in a special cutout in the boot!
