    Hopefully someone can help.

I have an opel Vivaro van an when i press the brake pedal the lights at the back don't come on til i have it at least half way pressed. Usually I'm stopped by the time it comes on actually. I've traced the brakes and they go into the engine under the glove box. Is it possible, or how do i adjust the timing for the lights to come on sooner.

    Thanks

not sure if its the same but on the transit there is a little switch over the brake pedal that operates the lights when the pedal is pressed, just check that its not stiff or stuck, happened to me before but had no lights at all
