2400W is the max power of the grinder. I'm hoping I won't need to use max power of the motor. The inverter doesn't have a fuse.

Inverter doesnt have a fuse no,but is it pluged into the 12v socket? if so its fuse will blow. most power is drawn at the start up of the device.

Well the 12v socket won't handle much power at all so I was going to run it straight from the battery, with the clamps provided. I have a clamp on ammeter to read how much power is being drawn.
