price of job? help

hi guys, im looking for a price of a wheel bearing on my nissan micra, and labour aswell, i tryed the net and theres not much, all so if any one from edenderry offaly, could they recommend, a good garge to go as i dont want to get robbed. please help would me very grateful

what year of micra, K11 model is up tp 03 and a K12 is from 03 on wards, is it front or rear bearing, and are you sure the bearing is gone.

Bearing would be a bit expensive (I would say near €100) The labour wouldn't be much more than €50 I think - not too sure about the labour part though. If you know anything about cars it's not that hard to change it youself

its a 00 nissan micra gx , ye there a squeeking noise when i am driving it, and it didnt pass the nct, they told me that

approx €150, that is when the old bearing is pressed out that the hub is ok, you could always get a second hand one in the scrap yard for around 60 euro

Second hand bearing is a waste of money. The forces involved in removing it from the donor & installing it will compromise its life big time.

The cost savings don't add up.
