Log book?

ok bought a runaround car and the owner told me that it wasnt registered to he's name or any other name so he didnt have a log book. Now Im not one bit sure as to how I would get the log book for this, would I have to ring shannon and get them to send me out a log book or do I just go about taxing the the car for the first…

If it is a 2nd hand car it would have to be registered in someones name. Ring the dept of environment in Shannon to find out what you need to do. 061 365000
