el cheapo netbook

So im looking for a netbook again to be used a backup when my quad core monster desktop is down or when i need to travel. Am pretty inclined to buy the original eee pc 701(Not the crap 2GB version mind you) because I could possibly get it sub €100. Any pitfalls in buying it from people who own or have upgraded from it.

The only pitfall is that the screen is too small. The keyboard is poor, and it could be seen as underpowered, but that depends on what you want it for. The screen resolution is a pain too, 800*480 i believe.

The original 701s are just an interesting historical item now.
