Might be interest to anyone looking for tickets

    http://www.stenaline.co.uk/ferry/scottish-rugby/scottish-rugby-hotel-break/

Probably one of the cheapest ways to go at this stage if you hadnt flights/accom booked

Strange that there seems to be no mention of it on there .ie site. Had day trips for £89 incl ticket but are sold out now

The day trip isnt that great an offer unless you live near belfast, need to be there 7am saturday, arrive back 3am sunday, add on a couple of hours drive either side of that and its a hell of a long day, and you miss out on a night out.

Personally, we had tickets sorted already so getting the satuday morning ferry over, staying in a hostel in edinburgh that night and heading home sunday evening, works out a little over €160 all in (excluding petrol, food and beer) which isnt that much dearer than train + ticket for a game in croker

Looked into that but some of my group couldnt get monday off, leaving the option of a 7.55am flight from newcastle (so pretty much leaving edinburgh at closing time) sunday morning or a €202.48 flight home sunday evening.

Good option for those who can wait til Monday though

Anyone not bookaed anything yet I've 2 spaces in my car left for ferry over from Belfast at 12 midday on Friday 13th and back Sunday. Just split the ferry 4 ways.

Might have a spare couple of tickets for the game too for face value if needs be too.
