    Have a hotel booked in Portlaoise with the girlfriend for Saturday week. Have never been to Portlaoise before so just wondering has anyone any good recomendations of somewhere to go for a nice dinner and anywhere good to go for a drink after :confused:

    Try seasons in market square for a good meal or kelly's foundary (steakhouse) or spagos (italian) both in the heritage hotel. Leathan on main street for a few drinks. njoy!

    All good recommendations there. Seasons is very nice but has the price to boot. Spagos is fantastic italian food.
