Clunking/Knocking sounds from rear of car

    Hi,

    Honda Accord '00

While out driving at the weekend I noticed some clunking/knocking coming from the back of the car. I checked under the car but didn't notice anything amiss in terms of the exhaust etc.

I am wondering is this a problem with the suspension/axles or the like. It seemed to be worse at lower speeds than at high speed, but doesn't seem any worse over speed bumps etc.

Has any one got any ideas?

    Cheers,

Is the spare wheel fully secured?

A bearing, top mounts, stone in the rim, spare wheel rattling

Stupid question I know, but are you sure its nothing like a loose wheel?

After that, most likely realted to suspension - shocks gone, bump stops worn etc
