    Hi,

Apologies for if in the wrong forum and for the dreadful title but was wondering could anyone help.

I currently live with the parents and we have cable/satellite tv downstairs.

I recently got a new tV for my room and was hoping to watch more then the usual (RTE1 etc..) channels on it.

What would be the best way to do this from your experience?

    - Run a cable up
    - Use a TV/Audio transmitter from the TV downstairs
    - Get one of those sattelite things from Lidl etc
    - Use slingtv (can transmit through laptop)

    Or any other ideas?

    Thanks

You'll have to give us more info, which provider have you got downstairs? Is their a point in your room at the moment?

Sorry had no idea what to give.

Have Chorus Digital downstairs in one of the rooms and "normal" Chorus in the kitchen and parents bedroom upstairs.

Currently use an ariel to tune in my TV however reception is fuzzy enough at best.

There is no cable access point there currently
