House struggles with his own beliefs as he takes on a case of priest with a disturbing past who runs a shelter for homeless people and sees a vision of Jesus.

I liked it, but then I dont think I've come across an episode of house that I havent thoroughly enjoyed so maybe I'm biased :D

I also dont get why so many people seem to dislike Thirteen so much. Honestly, I think she's a pretty interesting character well acted and not to mention, extremely HOT.

What did you think of episode 5x15? 9 votes

I thought it was good. Though, they're gonna drag the House / Cuddy - Will they-won't they thing out for another 4 seaons I bet. :(

I dunno. I think the stories are less interesting and the overall storyline has kind of slumped. I know they just had a big pinicle, but still.

I still enjoy the show though.

I thought the patient was very interesting, more so than the last few week's.

It was grand overall but a few little bits annoyed me like when they had the boy come in and apologise to the priest - it was a complete copout. And was anyone surprised when it revealed Foreman and 13 had planned that fight in front of House? Seriously it was so bloody obvious that House not calling them on it just seemed ...wrong. Hes supposed to be constantly suspicious and looking for all the angles yet he missed the most obvious one of all?

I dont see how the kid coming in to apologise was a copout. The whole episode was about faith. More specifically about House's or his lack of faith. Not so much in a divine being, but in other human beings.

In this episode, house had found a kindred spirit. Another person who had been so torn apart by the actions of others that he had lost all hope for a better life. And as the priest said, House wasnt looking to be proven right (that everyone is a liar, that everyone is miserable etc. etc.) House was looking to be proven wrong. Then, in this one episode the priests life goes from crap to back to being good again, to the point that the priests faith was restored in humanity and God, or at the very least he was thinking about it again ;)

The kid obviously felt guilty because he thought he would never have another oppurtunity to seek forgiveness. And you know how those catholics are sticklers for forgiveness :p

Finally, I thought House missing Foreman and 13's scheme seemed a little out of character too, and then I thought about it more. I think it's only out of character if he missed it. Because what would be most like house, is to figure it out almost straight away but allow it to go on without making it obvious he knows. Then some day, use it to mess with them some how.

Then again, it is possible that house missed it. Because if anyone knows house well enough to pull it off, it's foreman who has been working directly with him the longest. AND whom House himself proclaims is his prodigy ;)

It just seemed to me they made sure we knew he wasnt a paedophile before House cured him almost as if they were afraid to be seen to help someone that we the viewer wouldnt like. But as you say with the whole faith theme running through the episode maybe thats what they were actually going for. I'm a very superficial tv watcher so I tend not to notice those things :p

I highly doubt a show like house would be afraid to cure a paedophile. Sure i would say about 50% of the patients aren't likeable on that show. Makes no difference.
