    I'm so happy!!:p

It's a VW polo 97 1L. It has 66k miles on the clock and got it at a bargain from a dealer for 800euro :)

Haven't actually driven it yet as i'm getting it serviced and checked out by my friend who's a mechanic. It's nct'd til 2010 so even sweeter. He test drove it for me and recommended it. After a long search and a choice between Peugeot 106 or polo, i'm happy with my choice.

Was looking at insurance in insure.ie with a provisional license and got an offer of 1,180euro. That's 200 quid cheaper than quinn for a 23yo male Happy days!!:)

Can't wait for my test in july now so i can drive it whenever and wherever i want.

Not necessarily. Sounds quite believable actually depending on the owner.

Your quotes not bad for a learner permit as I paid 1995 for my insurance when i was your age. It can't hurt to give them a call get the licence and build up those NCBs and you'll get a good reduction!

congrats your first car its such a feeling of achievement

on the mileage my aunt had a 1994 nissan sunny, went to sell it in 04 and it had 18,000 miles on it. she never went further than town realy in it.

the dealer taking it as a trade in insisted that if he took it whoever bought it next could have her number to verify the miles were genuine.

my oh's astra which she bought in december has 6,500 miles on it it's a 95.

well done again with it sounds like a good buy

Cheers, i actually looked at that last one and it was impressive but i more or less got the same car for a lot less. Happy with that. Getting it serviced just in case though. :)

Sounds like you got a great deal not trying to say these cars are better just highlighting the low mileage ones around so not to be worried. Best of luck & Happy driving :D

Reliable little motor my sisters friend has one.. The 1 litre is quite nimble once you get your leg back in after getting it over that hill.. :D

We had VW's in our family and their very solid!
