I dont know if this question has been asked before but here it goes.

My sister is currently learning to drive but is it 6 months from the date you get your theory test cert that you can apply for the driving test or is it 6 months after getting the learners permit?

You can sit your test 6 months from the date of issue of the licence.

You can apply for your driving test when ever you like, however you can only sit the test after having your Learner Permit for 6 months or over. So technically speaking you can sit the test on the day you've had your permit for 6 months.
