I need to get one of these, or maybe even a Z4 for my wife before she marries someone who'll get her one quicker ( :D ). As such, besides this appearing to be a scam, I'd also like some more info if anyone has any experience.

I saw a similar one over the weekend at a garage for about 7500, so you never know it might be real.

I could almost guarantee I'm not your cousin but you can tell him from me I feel his pain :p

She's had a love affair with the Z3 and to a slightly lesser degree the Z4 for ages now. Need to sort one out and replace her's while she's at work or something... I reckon that's worth at least a weeks brownie points!

Only a week!!! She must be high maintenance, unlike the BMW. My sister has one and the thing gets dogs abuse and never gave a days trouble with the exception of the roof leaking a bit from time to time but to be fair the weather is extreame where she is near the sea with gales and rain. I'd recommend one on seeing hers over the years and it's a high miler too.

Yeah that scam has been around a long time. I have a Z3 and no problems at all. Once you find a good Z3 there should be no reason for it to give you problems. Sure they all leak but with the right treatment that will reduce that from happening.

Was a passenger in one once. The acceleration was so fierce that the glove box popped open and spewed CDs all over me :D

Got following reply after emailing on that advt. :D Any advice?

    Hi,
I'm Gillian Harris, you inquired about my 2001 BMW Z3.
I apologize for the delay, I'm in the military and now I am in United Kingdom and that's why I couldn't reply in time. If you are still interested in buying it, I'm asking 6,000€ . The car is registered in Ireland. It has a clean title, very well maintained, always garage kept, no rust, excellent condition, runs and sounds 100% perfect with no leaks or noises. All power and optional equipments are working perfect. I have to sell this car as fast as I can because in three weeks I will be in Iraq and I think I'll stay there for a while that's why I'm selling it so cheap. I intend to buy a new car when I'll get back home. If you want to buy the car please e-mail me back.

    Regards!
    Gillian

Good man Gillian... Ask her is English her first language because you can't understand her or is she drunk on Nigerian moonshine?

I had a mate of mine a few weeks ago with €5000 for someone selling a 01' 318ci in Liverpool and was heading for the post office to transfer the money over Western Union. Luckily enough I met him on the way to the post office.....

Yep. I stopped a mate sending €16,000 abroad for a '06 Boxster. One born every minute? Possibly, but there was definitely one born 36 years ago!

Get the 2.9 version, its a hoot.

HOW WOULD AN ENGLISH SOLDIER HAVE AN IRISH CAR?

He doesn't, that's why these scammers are such idiots. Such idiots are also the one's who fall for these things. I'd hate to be caught out by one, really have pity for anyone who has.
