Cant say. I've only played 4 on Vet. Getting the Mile High Club achievement was damn hard though.

World at war on veteran is a nightmare, personally I think its even harder than COD 4 and its mile high club :). In WaW, the enemy just constantly bombards you with grenades, so most levels are spent throwing em back or dodging them, while trying not to get shot but also being unable to fight back yourself. The first few levels are manageable if you're good, but I got to "Burn Em Out" and just had to stop before I broke the disc

Agreed, WAW on Vet is lunacy. Finally finished it about 2 weeks ago on Vet, but not before I nearly smashed the controller numerous times. The nades maaaan.... the nades....they're all 'round me

COD4 may not have been as tough as that to get through, but there's some feeling of achievement when you get that last pistol kill in Mile High.

I've been trying to get through the second last level outside the Reichstag for the last week and have made about 20ft in ground. It's incredibly frustrating to kill about 100 Germans by ducking and diving only to find a grenade in front of you, another behind you, one of your own bots blocking you in, and a hail of MP40 fire over your head.
I took about 200 goes to get up Wana Ridge before just using smoke and the flamethrower to 'Rambo' my way through. I'm glad to see other people are having trouble too; I was worried I was losing my skillz aged 30.

    People actually play SP, lolwut?

I don't know about COD5, but playing SP is the only way to get achievements on COD4. IW definatly should have put in some MP achievements.

i rather that they keep with the single player only achievements, it means someone who doesnt have live can still get all the achievements

Im nearly finished COD 2 on Vet. Havent touched COD :WAW on vet yet, havent finished it on normal yet!! :O
I think that Modern Warfare was probably the hardest on Vet that I have player (yet).
Mile high was the hardest thing to do on it, took me forever. And even at that I needed the xbox Live video to help me :(

COD4 : The First Horsemen... going through the town upto the barn... and then back down again!! HARDEST VET level in the game!!

WAW wasnt too hard on Vet tbh... bit disappointed. but there was one bit after the part where u get ambushed on the island and then move on up adn they have set up a block before a bridge adn u have to work ur way up and around that was sh!t hard!

I was just playing WAW last night with three others in co-op...it's absolutely impossible. Tried doing the "burn 'em out" mission and could barely make it up out of the train and as far as the first big building. It's basically instant kill...they hit you once at all and you're a gonner...and you have to be at least 20 yards away from grenades to avoid getting blown up....madness! but great craic!

Definitely does what is says anyway "You will not survive"...which is very true indeed!

I've never played CoD SP in Veteran Level... I usually get through the game in "Normal" when I buy it then play online only...

I would say COD4 was the hardest game on vetern,i didnt play it fully, but i played some of it and it was hard

i didnt find cod4 to be that difficult, mind you i still cant beat mile high club, as for world at war, im on the last part of the last level as we speak, the game is horrific on veteran, made me want to murder kittens. infinite grenades that seem to appear out of nowhere in a triangle around you, trying to escape means another conveinently for the nazis, appears just as you get out the danger zone. grenade raped.

    good game tho

    Wasn't that called 'Heat'?

Is that the one where you have to break into the house while the chopper is overhead and you have to hide behind the tractor?

That took a fair few goes, but I voted CoD 2 simply because the Russian missions and D-Day was so hard. Mainly because of the massive checkpoint spacing and ****loads of Germans hiding behind crates

I'm fairly sure that's called 'The Hunted', where you're shot down by a SAM abord a Black Hawk, then Soap, Price, Gaz, Arem & Nikkolai make your way through the countryside. You get to the barn and use a couple of 'Stinger-SAM' missiles to shoot down the Helicopter.

Cod3 was hardest. Only because it it the worst game in the series, and as such no fun, even on normal.

Less than 5% of cod4 players have finish mile high club on veteran.
