I'm in my mid 20's and want to get braces on top and bottom.
Can anyone advise me on an Irish-Hungarian dentistry called DENTEAST.ie? Have you had dealings with them and were you satisfied?

A representative of DENTEAST.ie could not tell me over the phone what type of braces they offer nor could they tell me their prices unless I attended a consultation at a cost of E50. This E50 will be deducted from the overall price if I proceed with my treatment with DENTEST.ie.

I am thoroughly researching the best prices and the best quality dentistries abroad like Budapest, Northern Ireland and within the Republic.

I'd appreciate your help in this regard.

    Cheers!

    Hi Timmy,

Braces need regular adjustments so you have to take into account the cost of travel and time off work if you decide to get them done outside of wherever you live. Any cost saving you might make by travelling could be lost because of this.

Full disclosure: To the best of my knowledge Denteast.ie is the local representative for the Madach Dental Clinic in Budapest, who advertise on our website. They have been reviewed before but not in relation to orthodontics, so I can't help you in relation to them.

I would however expect any clinic, local or otherwise, to be able to advise you about the type or brands of products they use. Obviously they can't tell you what you need specifically until they examine you though.

There are people here on Boards who have travelled to the north for braces and say that they saved money even with return trips for adjustments. Maybe they can reply here. There are also a good few recent threads about braces if you do a quick search.

    Phil
