DJ PHIL HARTNOLL (ORBITAL) returns to Dublin – March 28th @ The Academy
back to back with Miss U
    Support: Whippix
After playing Dublin last year to a sell out crowd as part of the "12 Nights to Christmas Festival", PHIL HARTNOLL returns on March 28th 2009, to play the Green Room at Dublin venue The Academy.
Phil who is one half of ORBITAL along side his brother Paul are the electronica pioneers of the dance evolution since the early 90s. The two took the world by storm with hits Chime, Style, Belfast, The Box and Satan. ORBITAL split in the summer of 2004, after playing a string of shows, including Glastonbury festival, T in the park and Wire Festival in Japan. Rumours of a summer re-union have led to a headline performance being announced for the Big Chill '09 in the UK.
Last years Dublin performance by PHIL HARTNOLL cemented him right back in as a true legend and one of the true originators of the electronic music era.
Speaking after his last set in Dublin Phil said: "It's been a long time since I played a gig like that, that crowd was off the wall."
Phil will be joined by MISS U, who will play back to back with him.
Support from rising DJ & producer WHIPPIX.
Advance ticket purchase priced at €20 incl. Booking fee are available at http://www.ticketmaster.ie and usual outlets nationwide.

somehow i doubt the Hartnoll brothers are short of a few quid with the amount of high profile gigs they already have lined up this year (not to mention the cash they made over the years)

Still an all Orbital are my fav dance act ever and im 100% going to catch them at some stage this year most probably @ http://www.bigchill.net/
