Today i acquired a freebie...

Its a little dark outside to take a pic but this is the same car, same colour. The differences between mine and this one are that my one has nasty alloys and looks like the car is on stilts, also mine is unwashed as it was pulled from a scrapyard.

Its called a Nissan Lucino (Japan) or a 200SX - B14 (USA)

She has the SR20DE 140 BHP engine, which i must say is beautiful!

Anyway, the thing is mine needs a little work, being plastic headlights they have gone yellow, wing mirrors are seriously tatty, needs lowering ASAP, needs alloys badly. I dont know anything about lowering, the guy before me said he couldnt even get the right shocks for it and he ended up putting almera shocks in it all round but it looks way way too high, any advice would be appreciated on this. I just wanted to know has anyone owned one of these before, any experiences with them, anyone know where I can get a nice bodykit for this, and not a crappy one, like a second hand one off a VZR Pulsar or something similar that would fit it.

Anyone think that the headlights/wing mirrors from a 96-00 Almera would fit it??

Re. the oxidised lenses, simply polish them with brasso. I have an old nissan and the results are very good. Use the brasso just like any other polish, rub in (may need some elbow grease or 2 passes) and buff off - bingo new looking lenses. I have before and after photos of mine but can't post at the moment.

Bugger i was looking for a machine polisher on my last car. I never thought of trying something less aggressive.


Nice car btw any plans on getting more power out of it?

There very popular for them to be tuned up in south Africa and the US. Very similar to the almera GTI here.

the wheels and such will do till you wash up the body work and have her running 110% then go about a silly lower and alloys...


but if shes Really a Sr20 id be making a vtec killer... Screw the looks, the worse/rattier it looks the better !
