Any advice for a financial services marketer who wants to move to FMCG?

    I have worked in Financial services for 4 years now. Since been laid off I am trying to break into FMCG ...purely because I've always wanted to work in this sector and market to consumers.

    I'm applying for jobs (5 months now) but I can't get my CV past recruitment agencies.

    ..has anyone any advice as to how to word my CV so its more appealing or whether I should try getting into a marketing agency first?

    I'm even applying for entry level positions and instantly being rejected.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
