    Hi,

I've been to Ireland twice and visited Dublin, Cork, Galway, Armagh, Belfast, and the Giant's Causeway/rural Antrim.

I would like to return but I am wondering where I should go, particularly for scenery.

I was thinking of: Ring of Kerry/Killarney, Wicklow Mountains, Donegal, Tyrone and somewhere by the sea in Connacht.

    Could I get some advice.

    Thanks.

most places on the west coast have great scenery. its really hard to pinpoint the best, beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that :)

for me outside the places you mentioned, achill island just off mayo is lovely, atlantic drive, keem bay, irelands tallest sea-cliffs Croaghaun http://www.achilltourism.com/

inishowen peninsula in north donegal has some awe inspiring scenery too, mamore gap, malin head http://www.visitinishowen.com/

never been to donegal but am dying to go there, but of all the places i have been to, one of my favorites would have to be the burren. it's just so different to anything i have ever seen and found it a magical place.

    I am biased....

    Kerry !

Killarney its self isn't a really pretty town , Kenmere is prettier to be honest. However it's a good place for a base.

However get down to Ross Castle early in the day , ie before 9am when it's quiet, walk down past the copper mines to governers rock ....... my favourite spot.

Walk over the Gap of Dunloe ( great if you don't mind the horrible smell of horse manure which does go away once you get near the top.

The Dingle Peninsular , Dingle it'self is lovely.

The Ring is lovely but can be mad busy , I haven't driven it for about 8 years to be honest.

I always like Sneem , it has a great collection of scupltures that were given to the town from different countries , most people miss them because they aren't looking ..... go into the chuchyard .

    Enjoy Ireland !

West Cork, Kerry peninsulas, burren in county clare including cliffs of moher, wicklow mountains, antrim coastline, mayo.
Been to all counties and these are my favourites. Dont think i can say any of them better then any other as they all have it goin' on

Just back from Doolin Co.Clare, had a great weekend, and have to say it is defo my favourite place in the whole country, knocks the socks off everywhere else in my opinion.

You'll need a car. I stayed in Hotel Doolin, newly opened, really nice hotel, 2 nights B&B 1 Dinner was 258 for 2 people. The food was excellent in the hotel, and in the pubs. I'd recommend Doolin above anywhere else in the country.
