    Hey,
    I was out the other night and got chatting to some girl. We didn't click as such but still had some laughs, at the end of the night she gave me her number and I gave her mine. I'm not sure if she just gave me the number out of politeness, perhaps sympathy, or did she genuinely want me to get back in touch with her.

    If she gave it to you without you asking for it, then yes - she wants you to contact her. She's not being subtle - it's blantantly obvious. Do you need it on a neon sign???

    Like the others said. You've got nothing to lose. Text her. Hear back from her = good. Hear nothing back from her = you have your answer.

    no brainer really. If you asked for her number maybe she gave you a fake and you'll just be texting some random stranger so no biggie. If it wasn't a fake then yeah she would like to meet you again.

    Only way to know is to text the number ;)

    well if you call her you'd know straight away if its the right person. but i dunno girls don't like getting called so much anymore. they prefer texts because they can ignore them or think long and hard about their reply. if you call they might get freaked out
