Ive been undergoing dental work since Oct in preparation for braces in a few weeks. Ive had no problems except on sat i started to experience what i can only call ''fizzing'', around the sides and back of my tongue and then this morning i have a taste in my mouth which i like rubber?? its on the front flat part of my tongue and i cannot get rid of it..have tried flossing, mouthwash etc and even eating ahst taken it as i can taste it through my food! Am i going mad or is it a result of the dental work?

if anyone can point me in right direction i'd appreciate it. ( and please no jokes about the rubber taste, its really bothering me!)
