Get Sky box fixed locally

Anyone know anyone who would have a look at my Sky HD box, and perhaps fix it if possible?

I'm a bit fed up with the whole Sky experience tbh, with poor service and faulty equipment. Last time I sent a faulty box away I didn't see it back for two months. What I got back was a dodgy replacement which I soldiered on with out of weariness, but which has now become unusable.

I'm tempted to just get a new one at €450 but somebody might be able to have a look inside and say whether a repair is possible. Byte kindly gave me a link to a site that does parts but would need to know first what the problem is.

Did you talk to Crumlish repairs down the glebe road in Letterkenny, they fix most things electrical.
