    Lawless Ireland

Brian O'Donovan investigates the increase in public-order offences and antisocial behaviour in various forms, from armed robberies to football hooliganism and racist attacks. He begins with a look at the rise in alcohol-related hospital admissions and drunken street violence

Should be interesting... they say its not going to be like cops or road wars or anything... hopefully im not on it! ;)

    Watching it now.
Not too many talking heads and plenty of scraps,brawls,barnies,donneybrooks,straighteners,digging-matches and milly-ups.
An excellent show, saves hours putting "dublin, fights" into youtube.

If it wasnt for youtube this show would have struggled to last till the first ad-break

My dog spends more time researching the next venue for a shoite than the TV3 researchers have put into this dross.

    These cheap productions sicken me.
They get a collection of footage from the web and edit it together to tell us what we have been told many times already.
Similarly, their recent Maddie McCann "documentary" was absolutely fcukin scandalous. They used still images from red top tabloids as their footage for the entire thing.

Jesus can we not shut this channel down? Tell me why we need it ? What does it add to the social/cultural mix?

This is what they contribute towards their home grown quota, lol. If TV3 or 3e disappeared tomorrow nobody would give a ****.

Crap, the voice over is terrible.

Still, we are more English than the English themselves.

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

Tv3 has no licience fee. So we are getting it free. If Tv3 had half our licience fee the production would be better. Lawless Ireland is still better than that crap Ireland got tallent. More like RTE have shag all else to put out.

Interesting to see what kind of **** Garda have to put up with, but as a whole, it was a really cheap production. I felt sick listening to the presenter constantly depicting bouncers with halos above their heads.

You should try using a keyboard as the input device it only takes seconds to type in "Dublin fights".

Indeed, it was poor production done on the cheap.

It was like an article in the Sunday Worst.

I knew it was time to switch the show off when the voice over, with suspence music in the background, pointed out that a gardas hat was knocked off durng one fight in Dublin... the horror!

Although the one enjoyable thing from the programme was the video of the two gardai being pushed into the lake...

It was just another tabloid scaremonging exercise, way below the standard of the British 'Street Wars' series. I'm waiting for a truly terrifying expose of the real criminals in our society, and they're not the ones with the working class accents!

    Oh my god!

Im watching the first 5 minutes of the show now and it is hilarious! its like one of those comedy mockumentary's you see.

The voiceover trying to be as serious as possible and the techno music trying to make out your watching snatch or something when in reality its two schoolkids having a fight. ROFL.

The fact this is supposed to be serious is cringe worthy.

if the content of this programme is a result of the quality of our cctv in ireland then i must say, all thieves drug dealers and general bad guys, go for it as you wont be recognised so ya wont be caught. i couldn't see a thing, my migraine hit with a vengence trying to squint my eyes to adjust what i was looking at.:(
