Maths In The Institute

    Anybody doing maths grinds in the institute on leesin street ?

    thinking of doing them and just wondering how people find them ?

    Depends on how much you need them. If you're not great at maths and are having problems with the basics then I would recommend them. But, if you're alright at maths and just have trouble with the part c questions, it might be a waste of time (and money!)
    I went to one of the weeklong courses the year of my JC and found it didn't really help me with the finer points of the course which I had difficulty with, but it does give you a good overall picture of the course and get you focused.

    Also, dont panic yet about your results- after the mocks come out everyone freaks out and panics- you have plenty of time yet. So unless you're failing, you probably dont need a grind. if you do need grinds, the teachers in the institute are brilliant, tis the place to go.
