More 4 Daily Show picture breakup

I have The Daily Show on More 4 series linked on my Sky HD box (shown Tues-Fri). I never watch it live.

Every few weeks an episode or at least big chunks of it are unwatchable because of picture breakup. I thought it might be the box so I formatted it but that didn't help.

One night I was in a friend's place and flicked over to More 4 around 8:45. The picture was all broken up, as was the picture on Ch4 and E4, but not any other channel I checked. This made me think that the issue I see is a Ch4/E4/More 4 issue.

Has anyone else seen this issue?
Any recommendations on who to report the issues to?

i have only free channels so i would watch a lot Ch4, E4 and More4 and i have to admit i have never had any break up or blocky-ness. I use Techomate 6900 Super which apparently has very sensitive tuner.
Could you tell what is your signal quality on those channels?

I record The Daily Show from time to time and have no such issues when I do.

do you have a base less phone, a walk around one??

the eircom ones, among others, transmit on the same freq as the channel four satellite.

next time your channel 4 is distorted, turn off the power to the base of the phone and in 5 secs or so it should clear.

this can also be a lamp nearby, or we have even had the problem from microwaves!!

might be a matter of eliminating things before you go looking for a service call, as all we do is start switching stuff off too! and it can't be helped once its happening.(that sky or sierra know of anyway)

    What is "sky night"?
When you switch it off at the wall do you lose previously recorded items? (I understand losing an active recording)

I do have a Panasonic cordless phone. As the transmission is via shielded coax cable to the Sky HD box and not an aerial I am surprised that it would get interference.
