Attic UHF and VHF Aerials + multiple TVs

I live approx 4-5 miles from Mt Leinsters transmitter and I'm looking to set up both UHF and VHF aerials in the attic, combine the signals and distribute them to 4-5 locations around the house.

We've always just had rabbit ears as we live so close to the transmitter, and got good enough reception. We recently got a 42in LCD so I want to have as good as possible reception for analog as possible, and a solid strong UHF signal for when we get a MPEG4 STB.

I've attached a sketch to describe what I think I'm looking for.

Also anyone recommend somewhere I would get all materials required for a good price.

    Thanks.

    Thinking of getting these:
    RG6 Satellite cable 250m

    UHF Contract aerial wide band

    Distribution system 8 Way powered

Having never required or seen a UHF aerial up close, do they require a power supply of some kind? (Not talking about a masthead amp to boost the signal, but for normal operation?)

Aerials of any sort never need power.
It's only mast head amps (LNA), Downconverters (LNBs), ODUs, integrated radio systems etc that need power.

    Thanks.

I got a bit confused seeing the aerial is so cheap and I see they also sell power supplies; I though I'd have to buy the two and put them together.

In what situation do you use a powered distribution amp vs a non powered 6 way F splitter for example?
