i have a dell xps 420 with vista 32 bit installed on it.
i would like to dual boot with Windows xp Home Edition on it.
ive searched online everywhere about it.
and ive parioned a part of my hard drive in NTFS.
now it says i should insert the xp disk and restart the computer.
i then boot from the disk and it goes to windows setup.
but then i get a blue screen error.
    Error Code: 0x0000007B (0XF78D663C,0XC0000034,0X00000000,0X00000000)

colud anyone please help me from here!
    thanks.

I haven't looked lately...but I thought XP had to be installed before Vista.

You can use a program called VistaBootPro that will allow you to add XP to Vista.

However the best and cleanest way I've found is to install XP first (drive d) and then install Vista afterwards.
Vista will automatically detect the XP installation and add it to the boot list.
