wanted 2nd hand bandsaw

    Hi All,

    Looking for a second hand bandsaw, nothing too massive, but enough to cut mabe 6 inch sq.

    Dont fancy shelling out 3hundred euros at mcqullans for thier smallest.

    Buyandsell I'd say. I sold a whopper last year for about 150. Actually check out Maginn in JFK, that's where I bought the one I sold originally. Although old, it had a good motor and a twelve inch cut. My ineptitude in setting it up properly forced the sale.

    It really depends what you want to use it for.

    detailed cuts or just cutting pieces of edges etc

    I got an old butchers bandsaw with an 18" cut and I use it to cut 18" high trunks of trees in half -and it does it no problem.
