    can anybody tell me when the next one i could run in is? looking to run in a race, getting bit tired of training only. thanks in advance

    it seems on this that the next road race isnt until 4/4/09. surely there are others prior to this?

    5k Road in Ashford (Co. Wicklow) this Sunday @ 10:30am, it's the country RR champs, but also part of the Wicklow Fit4Life series, so 'guests' would be allowed, only condition is to be registered with AAI.
    €5 if you are already registered with AAI, and €25 if you need to take out AAI registration on the day.

    Snippet from website... The event will take place on Sunday February 22nd.
    The venue is the same as last year. Race HQ will be located at Shamrocks GAA club, Clonhaston, Enniscorthy. Facilities include parking, changing rooms, showers and registration room.

    5 Mile Road Race on St. Patrick's Day in Ballivor, Co. Meath.

    1st race in Meath Athletics Open Road Race League

    Race starts at 2 p.m. Registration in Community Centre, Ballivor beside former NEC factory. Entries taken up to 1.30 p.m. €10.00 entry fee. After-race refreshments in Community Centre. Proceeds going to Ballivor National School Development Fund.
