    The Simpsons New Open Titles

To celebrate the Simpsons going HD for TV, the makers have created new altered opening titles for the series.
There is two versions, a short and a long version. Below is the long version.

I'm more interested in the end of the simpsons than the start of it.

There's actually two prices that pop up for some reason.

Aye, pause it and rewind it in HD and you get to see a lot more.

They could have done with an overhawl but I think its too late for the Simpsons, the new episodes just aren't very good, simple as.

Now that it is HD it can be nothing but good.

According to Sky everything in HD is great.

Well said! I can't stand their ad's, their way of showing us why HD is good is to play a clip in super slow motion!

Yeah. Why in slow motion. I have no intention of ever paying them an extra €15 for their HD.

once you go HD, you'll never watch a football match in SD again.

best part is the the actualy simpsons TV in the intro is now a HDTV and not the ol rabit ears model

seems rather pointless seeing as Sky repeat the simpsons so much that they have pretty much cut the intro out of every episode (except for the couch gag) to save time for more ad breaks.

AFAIK, it's not Sky that cut it, but the producers decide based on episode length how long they'll give to the intro, giving either full intro, bart lines + couch, just the couch etc. Sky tend to cut very little, compared to say UTV (half length films), or E4 (cut out most good bits of Friends or Scrubs, even after the watershed).

About time they changed it, I like it. Just so happens that the first episode with the new intro was the first decent episode of the show in ages.

I have watched 20x10 and I can confirm Simpsons eps suck just as much in HD as they did before.
