Got F5 and F7 in the bag this morning. Am contemplating F6 (second time around), F9 and P1 - would this be a mammoth workload or a good mix could anyone tell me?

    Or not at all;)
Just went to the classes and memorised a few of the terms. It's a very easy paper all in all.

And I got so fed up of P2 in the last few weeks I didn't do nearly as much study as I should have. Ah well

I found F9 & P1 to be fairly similar and not the most difficult. I think they're very manageable and some of the corporate governance theory etc can be used in both subjects. I'd say go for it.

Got F7 and F8 out of the way. Looking at F9 and P1 good to hear that they are handy. Any thoughts on adding P2 as well, the accounting knowledge is still a bit fresh in the head after F7 and it might be worth a shot

Doing P2 in a 3 exam attack is going to be very difficult. P2 is the most difficult exam in the entire course IMHO

Good idea. This is what I did. After passing F7 I skipped straight to P2 and managed to pass this just by reading the book (no classes). I did F8 along side it, a good mix of theory and workings I reckon.

I recommend that you should do P2 next (get it over with whilst F7 is fresh in your head) and do P1 with it, which is quite and easy, pure theory exam. You could always try F9, P3 (very easy) and P5 (easy enough) in your next round of exams.

Good luck with whatever you decide!

Just added on P1 to the above. Thanks for the advise. Here's to another semester ....

After a two year break for my wedding (amongst other things), I'm going back to do P1 and P2 so hopefully, I'll get the hang of P1 fairly easily so that I can put the hard miles into P2.

Common enough I'd say - coming up to the exams after a lot of work had been done sometimes I felt sick of it, even to the point if someone offered me a sneak peak of the paper I wouldn't have bothered to look. Didn't last for long thankfully!
