Is it possible to transfer security software (all freeware Avast,Adaware,AVG etc) from a desktop to a laptop?

I've tried copying the relevant 'Programme files' folders on the desktop on to a memory stick and then 'dragging and dropping' them in to the 'Programme files' on the laptop but there doesn't seem to be an 'install' icon.

Won't work..very few programs will work this way.
What you need is either the original disk or installation file.
And just for curiosity??what are you doing with Avast/Adaware/AVG all running together on your pc? You're only supposed to run one.
It's ok if one's a spyware remover but running Avast and AVG together will only cause conflicts and it's asking for trouble.
