I have no idea what the interviews are like....but the application form is identical to the milkround application form, so would guess they are along the same lines. Just be confident, try and use non-college related examples of leadership/teamwork and don't be afraid to ask a few questions. Would imagine places are going to be pretty limited this summer, but regardless of wheter or not you get an internship the interview experience will stand to you next November.

    1. The interviews are not scary at all. Its really nothing more than an informal chat with the interview getting to know you. Usually they'll bring in your application form with them and you'll basically just talk about it e.g. they'll say something like "I see you went to x college to study Y, why did you do that", "what was working for z company like and what was your role there" and "tell me about your hobbies"

I was sh1tting it going in but its over before you know it and its fine.

    2. Know your core competencies. Look on the websites and see what they look for e.g. teamwork, leadership ability, communication. For each competency have two occasions that you used it.

They will usually ask something like "tell us about a time when you worked as part of a team" or "tell us a time when you showed leadership skills". They dont have to be anything ground breaking.

    3. When I say "prepare" I dont mean write out a script, memorise it and repeat it verbatim. Just be prepared by having occasions in mind and be natural.

    4. Thats the most important thing. Be yourself and treat it like a chat not an audition. They want to know about you not your ability to memorise things and perform them.

    5. Maintain eye contact but dont stare. Make sure if there is more than one interviewer you look at both of them. If you have a problem with this practice it on yourself talking to the mirror and then on family/friends. If you dont want to come right out and ask family/friends to practice it just make a greater effort in day to day life to make eye contact until it becomes natural. This is a big part of giving a confident aura.

    6. If you feel the interview is starting to turn into a bit of a grilling and yur getting difficult questions GREAT! This is nearly always a sign that they are interested in you and think your able for it.

    7. If you dont get it dont take it badly. Positions are likely to be tight this year and just because you dont get it does not mean you did a bad interview or they didnt like you.

The worst case scenario is you get an excellent learning experience that will put you ahead of the majority come milkround next year.

Thats what I feel worked for me. If you have any more specific questions dont be afraid to ask and good luck.
